Needing to exercise, I snowshoed up Rock Canyon (east of Provo LDS temple)
this afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m.
Seen were: BROWN CREEPER, MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET,
STELLER'S JAY, DARK-EYED JUNCO, CANYON WREN, and CHUCKER (AUDIBLE ONLY). A
flock of about 40 birds flew high overhead up the canyon. I was hoping for
Rosy-Finches, but they were too far for an identification.
A highlight was seeing 20 Bighorn Sheep.
