Just returned from a photo safari in Tanzania and used the field guide
by Zimmerman et al. I gave the guide to my safari driver at the end of
the trip, but will be replacing it with the larger version shortly. I
also have the van Perlo guide. You are welcome to look at them if you
live in the SLC area.
Also, the U library has Zimmerman and the new Stevens/Fanshawe guide.
You might check the BYU library and the SLC libraries too.

Does anyone have a Kenya or East Africa Field Guide. Arnie and I
spent a day there and Ihave about 20 birds I'm not positive of the ID
because I only bought the West Africa and South Africa books. i would
really appreciate loking at one. I'm pretty close on most of the ID's
but I can''t be sure without range maps.=20
