For my 2002 Utah list, I needed a SHARP-TAILED GROUSE. Today (Saturday) at
11:00 am and after about two hours of walking through sagebrush and grass at
White's Valley, I flushed out and saw one SHARP-TAILED GROUSE. However,
despite my efforts, a GRAY PARTRIDGE was not located.
White's Valley is northwest of Tremonton, Utah. Exit off Interstate 84 at
exit number 32. Drive to the north end of the valley where two silos exist.
The bird was about halfway between between the silos and the field at the
north end which has been plowed.
