Backyard birds

Manuscript deadlines demanded my staying home instead of venturing outdoors
for birding.  However, with periodic glances into my backyard, I saw 12
species during a three hour time period.  Not bad for little effort.

Scrub Jay
Downy Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
House Finch
Dark-eyed Junco
Spotted Towhee
California Quail
American Goldfinch
Mountain Chickadee
Blackbilled Magpie
American Robin
