On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 10, 11, and 12, I saw a male Varied Thrush at the Springdale Pond in Springdale. The bird perched near the pond in the taller willow snags. He arrived around 6:00 pm each night and stayed for 10-20 minutes. Because this is a bird of uncertain occurrence in this vicinity, I videotaped the sighting on Saturday.
