Grant Jense, Bob Huntington, and I saw a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW in the understory of the cottonwood trees at the south end of Goshen Canyon on tuesday morning Oct. 8th. It was in a small flock of white-crowned sparrows. The vaux's swift was not to be found.
