Getting ready for winter

I have been getting some things ready for winter, and haven't been out birding much lately. I was reminded Saturday, that I have other things to get ready. I had a male flicker visit my empty suet feeder. Last week I had a cassin's finch and I am sure the juncos and pine siskins will be here soon. I will miss the summer birds, but I miss the winter birds each spring also.  Get ready.    Jack
