McCown's Longspur

Hello fellow birders,

I attempted to go out to Antelope Island this evening (9/11)looking for
the McCown's Longspur.  Although the gate onto the causeway doesn't
close until 9 PM, the area described in the bird sighting (milepost 10)
is past a gate on the Garr Ranch road that closes at 6 PM.  That gate
also doesn't open until 10 AM.  So unless you can convince the ranger to
let you in, you won't have access early tomorrow morning.  I hope this
saves someone a trip--Leslie Loeffel
