Hi all,
We (Lynn and I) saw the following birds in addition to
the ones that Glenn has already listed:
Sand Hill Cranes (4, 2 adults, 2 immatures)
Great Egret
Great Blue Heron
Gadwall
Kildeer
Northern Harrier (2, 1 male, 1 female)
Turkey Vulture
Ring Neck Pheasant
Eastern Kingbird
Western Kingbird
Mourning Dove
Northern Rough Wing Swallow
Western Meadowlark
Savannah Sparrow
Song Sparrow
House Sparrow
Glenn said we saw hundreds of swallows-- I think Ned
Hill counted them and said there were 15,761!!!
What a beautiful day to be out!!!
Good Birding!
Bruce
