Today we toured much of Utah County and saw four Tundra Swans at
LeBarron Point along with a great blue heron, buffleheads, lesser
scaup, and common goldeneyes. Close by we also saw a northern
harrier, cedar waxwings and a flock of beautiful mountain bluebirds.
We were treated to four bald eagles on the east side of West Mountain
and a tree full of peafowl. Other species included a Cooper's hawk,
about 50 crows in a large gathering, and a small yellowish-green bird
(zipped across the road and onward). Thirty-six species in all.
