I seem to be unable to send this reply to Junece directly so I'm posting =
it here. For anyone else interested in Pinyon Jays in SL Co., they're =
still visiting and the directions are below.

Hi Junece - Yes several were here this morning. They come by a few =
times throughout the day. I'm sure if they're not here you could drive =
around the neighborhood and have a good chance of finding them. My =
address is 7794 W. Mountain Top Rd. (But the house # is hard to read =
from the road). The best way to get here is to take the Bangerter exit =
off of I-15. Turn west onto 13400 S. and go several miles past fields =
and new housing developments to a stop sign at Rose Canyon Rd./6400 W. =
Turn left (south). At the next stop sign (a 3-way stop), turn right - =
you'll still be on Rose Canyon Rd., if you went straight you'd be on a =
dirt road. Go about 1.4 miles to the right turn onto Mountain Top Rd. =
Where Mt. Top intersects Rose Canyon there is a row of silver community =
mailboxes and several log-sided shelters. Just head up the hill, around =
a couple of curves and down an extremely steep hill (and through LOTS of =
potholes) - ours is the first log house at the bottom of the hill (on =
the right). Feel free to give me a ring if you'd like - 446-7305. Our =
road is dirt and the hill can be a bit troublesome in snow, but there's =
probably not enough today to cause too much trouble.

A few Pinyon Jays (maybe 7) have been visiting my feeders this week =
- - the first group to come by in about 3 years. Also saw a goshawk =
checking out the area one day earlier this week but I don't think it's =
stayed around (haven't really been looking though). I'm on Mountain Top =
Rd. (off of Rose Canyon Rd.) in High Country Estates II in Herriman.
