Trumpeter Swan

Hi Birders:
This morning, 2/8/02, 11;30 AM, I observed four Trumpeter Swan, 2
immature, 2 mature. They were at the mouth of Provo River at the Utah
Lake State Park. There were no man made markings, no wing paint or neck
bands. They were quite nervous, so be careful about how close you
approach. The airport dike is closed. I suspect it is for security for
the olympics.
