Winter Wren

Headed up to Provo Canyon and Sundance today. The
birds were quite active. I walked along the Provo
River Parkway, and about 100 yards west of Canyon Glen
Park along the parkway was a Winter Wren. At Sundance
I saw a good flock of Hairy Woodpeckers, there were
five on one Aspen tree. Also there were Stellar Jays,
and both type of Chickadees, and Mallards on the Provo
River. It was nice to be in the mountains, and out of
the valley.
