Ruff on the 28th

Now's the first chance I've had to report it, but the Ruff 8 mi. west of 
Corrine was still there on the afternoon of December 28th when I detoured to 
see it on my way to Idaho.  It was hunkered down on the ice while three 
killdeers ran around it, and then had to scratch it's head with those bright 
orange legs.
May your birding be warmer than mine was.
