snow bunting

    There was a snow bunting this Wednesday afternoon near the 40 mile per
hour sign west of mile marker 4 on the antelope island causeway.  The bird
was seen on both the north and south side of the road.  The ruff was still
present today at the same location eight miles west of Corinne.  If anyone
has seen gray-crowned rosy-finches or crossbills in Utah recently, I would
appreciate a call or e-mail.  581-0832
