Hello
Saturday at 10:00 am there was a Long-tailed Duck at mile marker 1 on =
Antelope Island Causeway. A Prairie Falcon was swooping down and nearly =
picked it off in flight. The duck crashed into the water and ten =
seconds later, flew east. Probably end up at Farmington Bay. The =
female Scoter was not seen.
Garr ranch was open and had little activity. The only unusual birds =
were cedar waxwings and there was one yellow-rumped warbler.
Farmington Bay still had the huge flock of Bonaparte's Gulls on the east =
side of the west dike road.
