Washington County Birds

Today (9/28) at the Quail Creek inflow willows the CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER
was again seen (throughout the day) by multiple observers. Also this morning
(10:30) Dana Green found an immature PRAIRIE WARBLER in the area of the
Quail Creek and Cottonwood Wash confluence. It remained throughout the day
and was relocated by Merrill Webb at 16:45 in the dry cove near Harrisburg
boat dock 'A'. The CLAY-COLORED SPARROW has not been seen since Monday
(9/24). Also yesterday (9/27), Kevin Wheeler and I flushed an AMERICAN
BITTERN along the Middle Drain in the Washington Fields. The Middle Drain
is the second drain to the North of Seegmiller Marsh. This area is private
property so please be considerate when birding in the area.

Have a great weekend,
Rick
