A quick 26hr trip to Washington County on 9/20 by Bryan and I produced a lot of driving and only one bird of note- two GREEN HERON were feeding on the lower end of Santa Clara Creek near its connection with the Virgin River. They were both seen from the foot bridge at the end of the road past the Dixie Center. We looked for Bendire's Thrasher in Hurricane Fields, and later for the Zone-tailed Hawk at Pine Park, but luck wasn't with us.
