We hit the Nebo loop in Utah County this morning before they closed the
road because of the fire. We saw a western tanager and at Payson Lake
campground we saw Nashville and McGillivray's warblers, red-breasted and
white-breasted nuthatches, red-naped sapsuckers, and hermit thrushes
(along with lots of other birds). What a great birding area!
Then on Main Street in Genola on a fence by the fields we saw a
beautiful blue grosbeak and in the same general area a loggerhead
shrike.
