The Utah Ornithological Society and Utah County Birders are =
co-sponsoring a Utah Birding Conference September 7 and 8 2001 at the =
Bean Natural History Museum on the BYU campus in Provo. Topics and =
speakers include: Birding Southern Utah's National Parks- John Spence, =
Birding Utah by Ear-Dr. Keven Colver, Shorebird Identification- Ella =
Sorenson, Passerine Identification- Merril Webb and Dennis Shirley, =
Birding Photography- Alan Fuchs, Internet Birding- Milton Moody, and The =
Quest For 700 ABA Birds- Ned Hill. Therewill also be fieid trips to =
local birding hot spots led by Ella Sorenson,Terry Sadler, Merrill  =
Webb, Dennis Shirley, Bob Bond, Mark Stackhouse and others. There will =
be a nominal fee for the conference to cover the cost of the banquet =
Friday evening, May 7. More details on the conference and registration =
information will soon be posted on the UTAHBIRDS website. So mark your =
calenders and let other birders know who may not be connected to this =
