antelope causeway 5/21/01

Whimbrels, Black-bellied Plovers still present.  Didn't see knots--
perhaps too far out.  On the island, Lark Bunting (male) at the 
gate near mile 7 to 9 (didn't get exact mile post); didn't see the 
Grasshopper Sparrows or hear them--we were there about 3 pm. Very 
little at the ranch--Western Wood-pewee.  Barn Owl in the barn 
before entrance station--sitting in the center roof beam area about 
midway the length of the barn.
