Farmington Bay Birding

A group of new birders went to Farmington Bay Sat. on a Salt Lake Audubon=20
field trip and were treated to two visual treats. Along Glover Lane there wa=
s=20
a fence close to the road upon which sat ten Cattle Egrets in a row in=20
beautiful breeding plumage. Then at the Glover ponds a group of White=20
Pelicans were doing their choreography moving as a group and then dipping=20
simultaneously in quest of food. Mother Nature presents superb shows! Tree,=20
Bank, Cliff and Barn swallows were plentiful along with the expected ducks,=20
Avocets, Ibises, and Stilts. All in all, the group picked up a respectable=20
list of 42 species despite intermittent rain and cool breezes. =CB=99 =20=
