Tree Swallows

Will tree swallows nest close together like other swallows or do they
insist on a larger territory?  Last year we had a pair build in a nest box.
 It is the first time I have ever attracted tree swallows, even though I
have been putting out boxes of various sizes for many years.  I will put
out more boxes this year, but need to know about their habits.  What is
your experience?
