Winter delights

Just another typical day at the backyard feeders, NOT!
At breakfast I was greeted by a visit from our local wintering
White-throated Sparrow.
Lunch was shared with a Brown Creeper who was looking for a comparable
meal in the juniper tree just outside the dining room window. A first
for my yard list. :)
And afternoon tea was filled with surprises when a Northern Shrike
stirred up the regular attendees. Another first for my yard list. :~()
yeeha!
Winter bird feeding can certainly add excitement to a quiet day at home.
