sightings



    I did see the Short-eared owls again at Farmington Bay.  I think the 
secret is going just before they close the gate.  The long tailed duck was 
not there, but the bittern flushed as soon as we stopped the car.
    Also I saw a partly albino robin in Ogden at a private residence.  It had 
great camouflage for snow as it was mottled white, red and black.  It was 
pretty interesting. I wonder if it will have the same plumage in spring when 
it would not be helpful.  Write me if you want the address to try and see 
this bird.
