Julie and I found a single Eurasian Widgeon mixed in with a large flock =
of American Widgeons at the pond between the Eastbay Golf course and the =
parking lot by Franklin Covey warehouse. This is near the island where =
Black Crowned Herons used to hang out on the east side of the golf =
course. We found it at 11:00 am on Thanksgiving day, while the turkey =
was cooking.
We hope your holiday was the greatest, except, of course for Dennis, who =
was working. We know he was working because we saw Red Crossbills with =
Dennis' brother, Lee at the Provo Cemetery at 12:15, and Dennis wouldn't =
answer his cell phone. Must have been owls on his mind.
