Thanksgiving birds

Here's my list of birds I saw on Thanksgiving,

American Kestrel
Smooth-billed Ani
Killdeer
Greater Yellowlegs
Black-necked Stilt
Snowy Egret
Cattle Egret
Great Egret
Loggerhead Kingbird
Greater Framingo
Least Sandpiper
Rock Dove
Black-bellied Plover
Northern Mockingbird
Spotted Sandpiper
Tricolored Heron

I was in Haiti in a remote location.  Interesting to see some common
friends (bird friends also on a winter vacation) along with some pretty
exotic stuff.

I also saw some other birds on my trip like:
Zenaida Dove, Hispaniolan Woodpecker (a knock out), Palmchat,
Hispaniolan Lizard Cuckoo, Bananaquit, Vervain Hummingbird, Golden
Swallow, Hispaniolan Emerold, Greater Antillean Pewee, Hispaniolan
Bullfinch and a Tropical Mockingbird singing like crazy.

I got a pretty tanned face and had a great time -- and I'll be telling
you more than you want to hear about Haiti -- probably already have --
nice to have good patient friends!
