Snowy Plover at Saltair



A few more shorebirds were present than over the weekend...unfortunately, still no peeps...

Lee Kay Ponds

Killdeer - 1
Greater Yellowlegs - 1
Wilson's Phalarope - 2
White-faced Ibis - 5
American Avocet - 6
Black-necked Stilt - 3

At the farthest west pond on the north side of S202 (the road that goes over I-80 - just to the east of Saltair itself)

Killdeer - 1
SNOWY PLOVER - 1
American Avocet - 1

Saltair Marina pond

Killdeer - 2
Spotted Sandpiper - 5

Warm Springs

Killdeer - 9
American Avocet - 93 - including a flock of about 45 that was not there yesterday
Black-necked Stilt - 8
Greater Yellowlegs - 10
Lesser Yellowlegs - 6
Spotted Sandpiper - 3
