During a climbing class this afternoon I noticed a few birds around Storm
Mountain in Big Cottonwood Canyon in the area between the hairpin turn and
the first bridge. There were dippers (at least two) calling and foraging
along the steam bank, and I heard and saw three swifts (I presume
white-throated)in addition to the usual song sparrows and chickadees.
