Yesterday, Sunday, Keith and I took a trip to Half-way Wash to check it
out since we weren't able to do this hike at the Winter Bird Festival.
We drove into the parking area, parked, looked down towards the path
just north of Sunset Blvd and saw about 20 or more White-corwns busily
eating seeds that someone had dropped. Right in the middle of them were
two Golden Crown Sparrows. What a surprize. Like Merrill Webb told us
at his presentation on Friday.... "you just have to look really careful
and don't assume they are all the same."
