St. George, Bloomington area, Christensen's Park: 10-16-04
- 8:00 a.m., This morning I saw a dark eye thrasher sitting
on the fence next to the wilderness at Christensen's Park. I thought
it was a Crissel Thrasher, it was brown (really quite dark) but had
a dark eye. It sat for about 3 minutes, turning its head one
way and then another. No song. Finally it jumped down and disappear
into the chaparrel and tamerisk. If you are in the area, tell me
if you see it. Has anyone ever seen a California Thrasher in this
area?
