Several good birds in the Silver Reef count were reported yesterday.
Among them were a few late migrators:
2 Fox Sparrows on the way to Oak Grove
2 Vesper sparrows in Hurricane fields
A plumbeous vireo north of Lins in Hurricane
a least sandpiper in Toquerville
Other good birds reported were:
2 Virginia Rails
49 pinyon jays
1 prairie falcon
3 lewis's woodpeckers (in three areas)
and a yellow-bellied sapsucker in Toquerville.
Some of these will likely need documented, and additional observations never
hurts, so let us know if you refind them.
Hope to see you at the other upcoming counts.
Kevin
