Yesterday (10/20/03) while making an early morning pass through the
Washington Fields I saw a Peregrine Falcon in the large Cottonwoods about
0.25 miles downstream from the Washington City bridge crossing (Washington
Fields Drive). I watched it for about 10 minutes as it sat perched at the
top of tree. It was finally chased off by a Red-tail.
