Josh,

I should have said my location in my first post.

We live in Paradise Utah, ten miles due south of Logan on highway 165.

Unfortunately they have only visited us two days this winter.

Last winter when we got loads of snow there was quite a group
of these grouse  around town for several weeks.   They were seen at the 
cemetery
and other locations around town.   They liked to browse for willow buds, 
berries,
and birch seeds.

Sorry, I can't say it is a sure bet to see them if you came to Paradise.

If you live close though it may be worth the ride.  Pretty scenery at least.
