Went up to Promontory Point today to clean out the car pipes. There were
Northern Harriers everywhere, a few killdeer, and a four redtails. At Salt
Creek I was excited to see around 20 AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS (singing
sweetly). The ponds were all frozen.
Taking a quick drive through Willard Bay campground we found Juncos and
Robins but no Eagles. However, as we got on the freeway and headed south
we noticed a mature BALD EAGLE had just flown up into a tree at Willard
Bay.
Beautiful day for a ride.
