Hook Bird Stories

Greetings:
 
I contribute a weekly article, "Bird Sightings" for the Thursday,  Outdoors 
section of the Salt Lake Tribune.  Recently, I mentioned my  "Hook Bird" the 
Green Heron.  Brett Prettyman, picked up on that "Hook  Bird" theme and wants to 
do a story on local birders "Hook Birds."
 
There have been four folks who have sent him their stories.  He hopes  to 
receive more that he can publish in the near future.  So, for those of  you who 
would like to share your love of birding and how you got "hooked" here  is an 
opportunity.  It will also hopefully, "hook" readers and teach them  some good 
news about our hobby of birding and love of nature through  birds.
 
For those willing, keep stores brief (shorter has better odds of getting  
into print, as well as eliminating the editors red pencil) and send them onto
