The GSLA bird walk this morning took us about a mile south of 12600
South along the Jordan River Parkway. Best birds seen were Mr. and Mrs.
Blue Grosbeak, Cassin's Vireo, several families of Western Kingbirds and
a Belted Kingfisher. The most interesting (for lack of a kinder word)
sighting was a dutiful Song Sparrow trying to satisfy the appetite of a
young cowbird - ugh!
