I live near Westminster College and I have been seeing a Swainson's Thrush
foraging in my shrubs today. I have never seen one in SLC. I hear their
amazing song in the canyon, and that is the main reason I go to the
canyons on summer evenings. Do they ever nest here? Is there something I
can do to encourage it to stay?
We feed suet, black-oil sunflower seeds, thistle, cracked corn, and fruit.
We have several running water features in the garden.
Thanks in advance.
