Hi,
Three northern folk made the trek to St. Gorgeous and were rewarded with
good weather for a change and some good birds for us. Bob Huntington, Bob
McDougal and I struck out on the Painted Redstart twice, but made up for it
with:
Zions: White-throated Swift
Red Hills Golf Course: Vermilion Flycatcher (male and female)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Common Blackhawk (soaring)
Lucy's Warbler
Road to Lytle Ranch: Black-throated Sparrow
Cactus Wren
Scott's Oriole
Ash-throated Flycatcher
Outside Lytle Ranch: Costa's Hummingbird
We also saw many year birds that will be common up here shortly.
