first bird

My first 2005 bird was a Kestrel sitting on a ohone line overlooking a large, partially snow covered field. My first bird of 2004 didn't happen until about early November since that is when I decided to start really looking. But, thanks to MANY people on this list, birding has become more fun and enjoyable. I went New Year's Eve and my last bird was a Spotted Towhee...I'm excited to get a full calender year under my belt in the next 36 days...
