Re: ebird

I've used in in the past when I was in Texas.  It helps to track bird populations as it allows people to post their sightings online and then numbers and species of birds can be tracked.  It could be a little more user friendly, in that it is not so easy to list birding spots (you need to know GPS coordinates for places, I believe), but other than that, since it's affiliated with Cornell's Lab of Ornithology (where there are some great birders, some of whoim I've birded with), it's very good.

Just my two cents,
Richard

I just read on utahbird.org about ebird.org.  Just interested, but how many people are actually using this site.  Specifically, how many of you use it and what are the advantages if any?

Thanks,
Brian
