I saw some plans for building wooden roosting boxes for small birds to
use in the winter. Does anyone have any in their yards? If so, does it
help increase the bird population at your feeders?
Has anyone seen where birds (especially the small ones such as finches
and sparrows) go to sleep at night or when it's cold in the daytime? My
kids and I have been curious about their habits. We'd love to provide
lodging for birds in addition to dining at our feeders.
thanks,
Linda Butler
