Blue Jays

I went out yesterday afternoon to Clarkston (northern Cache Valley) to see the 3 Blue Jays that Tom Gordon reported yesterday morning. Tom said the 3 Blue Jays have been there for about a week. I was able to see all 3 come to the bird feeders and then dive to the ground and snatch up the fresh peanuts in the shell that Tom put out for them.

Beautiful birds! As Tom said, you can hear them before you see them. Very harsh and trill "Jayyy" scream.
