Pomera and I birded Antelope today. The ranch was awash in
Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Juncos. We saw an adult male Varied Thrush
just east of the spring house--it was under the trees at the edge of
the swampy area on the north side of the "point." No sign of the
Magnolia Warbler. On the causeway on the south side by the marina we
saw a small flock of about 15 Red-necked Phalaropes.
