California Quail and Common Grackles

Speaking of Common Grackles...We've had them nesting in my Taylorsville
neighborhood for the past three years. When they're not eating sunflower
seeds at the feeders, the grackles walk around the yard with the California
Quail eating whatever morsels they can find. Theirs is a strange yet
wonderful relationship and both have calls so loud at times they could
raise the dead.
