Hi,
Here's a mildly amusing picture on my website of a
Buffalo Bird. Based on its profile (not shown in photo), my best guess is a
juvenile cowbird.
I didn't get to see the Yellow-throated Warbler on
River Lane this morning. I think Milt Moody was the only one who got a brief
good look at it around 9:30 am in a tree not too far from the willow tree
reported from yesterday. I believe it was about 50 yards or so farther from the
end of the road and on the stream side where he saw it. When I left (around
11:15), it hadn't returned.
Around 10 or so, most of us had real good
looks at the Red-eyed Vireo. Other interesting birds were Nashville and
Townsend's Warblers.
