Went to Lee Kay Ponds, Saltair and Warm Springgs to look for shorebirds this
morning. Not much has changed form the previous visits this week.
Lee Kay Ponds
American Avocet 16
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Killdeer 9
Black-necked Stilt 3
White-faced Ibis 6
Saltair
American Avocet
Black-necked Stilt
Killdeer
Warm Springs (still the most productive out of the 3 SL County spots)
5 Lesser Yellowlegs
2 Greater Yellowlegs
1 Spotted Sandpiper
3 Killdeer
7 Black-necked Stilts
91 American Avocet
5 Forester's Tern
and interestingly 51 Mourning Doves on a telephone wire nearby.
Hopefully it will start picking up soon.
