Message: Dear UBH: This morning on our deck railing stood a bird perhaps
like a thrush, light tan above with a tan/white speckled breast--sort of
thin, like a sparrow grown up to be a teenager--bigger than most sparrows,
perhaps thrush size. But I do not know if I have ever seen a bird with
eyebrows that stuck straight up above its head--very like bristles--tan as
well. I've searched in our bird books and on your site, but am stuck. Might
you know this one? Thanks very much!
