Just thought I'd pass this along for anyone going to Zion this weekend:
Rhett Boswell, a wildlife technician/biologist at Zion National Park, will
be leading 3 bird walks for Earth Day, Saturday, April 24, in the park.
The
walks will be 1-2 hours, depending on the number of birds and interest.
8:00 a.m.* Meet at the Court of the Patriarchs shuttle stop in Zion
Canyon
1:00 p.m. Meet at the Temple of Sinawava shuttle stop in Zion
Canyon
5:30 p.m.* Meet at the Visitor Center to go to Springdale Ponds
* At early and late times, you will see the most numbers of birds as
birds are most active dawn and dusk.
