Hi Everyone
I had a nice visit to Cedar City this weekend I got away for a couple
of hours and took a walk up the Canyon Trail there was a lot of bird
activity. Most exciting were 4 Chukars that let us get real close and
have a good long look at them.
Birds Sighted
Yellow Rumped Audubon's Warblers
Spotted Towhee
Green Tailed Towhee
Blue Grey Gnat Catchers
Ruby Crowned Kinglets
Bushtit (many along the whole trail)
Song Sparrow
Scrub Jay
Steller's Jay
Chukar (near the water tower)
Turkey Vulture
Raven
I have found that the dirt road that runs parallel above the paved
trail has less human activity and more bird activity.
Happy Birding
Steve
